Eyal: 20.Nc5? would run into 20...Rfe8! and Black grabs the initiative.
May-01-10  AdrianP: ...Rfe8 Rfc1 and Vishy wouldn't mind an exchange of Rs. Could Vishy play f4 at some point (like one of the earlier games, I think)? Looks dodgy.

Ulhumbrus: Perhaps the idea is 20...f6 21 Nc6 and on 21...Rfc8?? White has the fork 22 Ne7+
May-01-10  kamalakanta: Besides controlling the c-file, my guess (from the psychological side of things) is that the main virtue of White's position is that Black's pawn chain does not really allow him to easily build up an attack.
May-01-10  Sashadrago: I can see the match at http://www.anand-topalov.com/en/liv... but not the "live commentary"... am I missing some link on the page?
May-01-10  ajile: I went to chessbase and couldn't find any live feed of the game.

Jack Kerouac: That C-File is looking strong in an otherwise pretty even game.

Who is better in this position? What are your impressions?

I don't think so since there is a delay.

blue wave: It doesn't look like white is going to win this one. Another draw?
May-01-10  ReikiMaster: I´d say Topalov is happier here!

Nigel Short: Ideally white would like to exchange one knight for the light-squared bishop. Black, on the other foot, would like to maintain his bishop pair and not allow any points of entry.

thegoodanarchist: Will Anand double his rooks on the c-file? I predict yes.

The official ChessGames position is that a live broadcast of moves can't really be prohibited and they'd be quite happy to get some free advertising like Chessbase.

That is because it is at the Chessbase chess server playchess.com, not chessbase.com

Is there a delay? I assumed cg had permission, possibly after paying a fee.

May-01-10  vsadek: Chessbase live feed = playchess.com
