Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-28-11  Penguincw: I don't understand why there is no kibitzing yet for Nakamura's very first game!Well, there is now.

virginmind: heh, naka played on until he was actually mated...
Jan-01-12  fokers13: Black's position in the 19 move is completely won and totally won with white's blacksquared bishop safely locked out of the game. The correct plan was Bg7 and f6 stopping any chance of a breakthrought followed by Kg8-Kf8-Ke7 and doubling or exchanging the rooks on d-file.

Sadly in the game itself he's done in by a tactic a patzer could see.

Jan-23-12  joshuap: Sadly, I can't find any of nakamura's 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 games! :( I was interested on how that worked out for him when he was a kid. ;D

technical draw: The ratings on the card are misleading. It looks like a 2200 player beating a 2700 player. Nakamura was 8 years old.
May-19-12  number 23 NBer: Then again, Predescu was 7, so it wasn't a master beating a little kid.
