suenteus po 147: Nice escape by Jakovenko. These kinds of swindles are frustrating yet inspiring.
May-13-10  uscfratingmybyear: Why not 36.Rh8+ KXh8 37.b8Q8+ Kh7 38.Qb7 covering f3 and if 37...kth2+ K goes to g1 attacking the knight, checks end and the white kt goes to e8 and black is busted.

Gilmoy: <uscfratingmybyear: Why not 36.Rh8+ Kxh8 ... and black is busted> Hence Black /won't do that/: 36..Kg6!= and White has no more (useful) checks.
