Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-27-11  Everett: Another sweet attack from the young Spassky. Starting with the deflection 23.Ra7

Black could try <27..Bc8 28.Qxd6+ Re7 < ...Qe7 29.Qh6#> 29.Qh6+ Ke8 30.Rg8+ Kd7 31.Qc6#> Or <27..Bd7 28.Qxd6+ Re7 29.Qh6+ Ke8 30.Rg8#> But I think Black missed...
<27..Bxd5! 28.Qxd6+ Re7 29.exd5?! Qb6!> Spassky would likely have had to go for the perpetual earlier starting with <27..Bxd5 28.Qxd6+ Re7 29.Qh6+ Ke8 30.Qd6, etc.>

None of this is computer checked, so feel free to find some improvements.

Dec-27-11  Everett: I guess Spassky to fish after <27..Bxd5 28.exd5!? Re1+ 29.Nf1> he would have the opportunity to keep Black's king under pressure and perhaps create a passed pawn starting with h4. Interesting.
