May-15-12		backrank: Another great game without kibitzing ... Unzicker outclasses Donner once more! Such a miniature between GMs is a rarity, it looks almost like one of those Morphy vs. NN games. Of course, it was very risky of Black to take the b2 pawn. 14. Qc4! was very strong; the diagonal b3-g8 together with the f-file and the superior development guarantee White strong pressure. In the final position, Black can't take the Ng5 due to Qxg6, neither can he prevent that move by any other means, since 20. ... Nf8 loses to 21. Rf1! hxg5 22. Bxf8, again followed by Qxg6.

May-16-12		sneaky pete: You should write: I'm surprised this great game has no kibitzing. The reason for that is very simple: it has been added only very recently. I've been looking in vain for it before.

May-17-12		backrank: @Shams: It's not a single move, it's his whole (centralizing) strategy, I think. @sneaky pete: I wasn't aware of that fact ... however, there are so many games out there where I wonder why no one has kibitzed so far. Few people seem to know what a great player Unzicker was; his style is clear and precise. Donner seems to have been an easy meal for Unzicker, here's another great attacking game (without kibitzing so far): Unzicker vs J H Donner, 1954 Or take a look at this black win in 25 moves which is simply embarrassing for his opponent (who was an IM!) D Drimer vs Unzicker, 1970 If the fact were better known that Keres was one of Unzicker's heroes, people would look at Unzicker in a different manner (probably).
