  drmariogodrob: Wow, 25. Rf8! That's a computer move!
Jun-10-10  mworld: Rf8 would make a good puzzle - don't think i'd say its a computer move only from the standpoint that its SO powerful and threatens an obvious mate if recaptured and a venemous pin that neutralizes the bank rank and adds fuel to a mating net on the king.

Good find!

Jun-10-10  mworld: *back rank...but now that I think of it, the bank rank sums it up better :)

drmariogodrob: <mworld> Oh sure...not a computer move in that sense. Just in the sense that...a computer made it ;-).
Jun-11-10  Nyctalop: 28. Rf8 is extremely crushing. If that had been played between humans, I'm sure the player behind the Black pieces would have resigned on the spot.
Jun-11-10  syracrophy: 25.Rf8!! Deadly! Le coup de grāce! Marvelous!
Jun-11-10  kramputz: The programmers of KOMODO are morons.
Learn how to resign !!
Sick program.

luzhin: The interesting thing is that Komodo did not play the obvious 27...Bc6 avoiding loss of a piece. Why? Because it 'saw' the mate that follows: 28.Qg7+ Kg5 29.Bxe6 Rxg8 30.h4+ Kxh4 (if 30...Kf4 31.Qc7+ Qe5 32.Rf1+) 31.Qh6+ Kg3 32.Qh2+ Kf2 33.Qf4+ Ke2 34.Qd2++ -- the ending the game deserved!
Jun-13-10  falso contacto: not easy.
Jun-16-10  cormier: 12...Qe8

Phony Benoni: Not bad. Would be perfect if Komodo actually played the Dragon.
Dec-08-11  invas0rX: nice shot! I love komodo
