Domdaniel: An exquisite finish: Chuky's moves are like precision engineering.

Even the final blow, 39.Qc6, is hard to anticipate. Easy when you get there, and elementary for an engine, but less optically obvious than, say, Qb7. But he saw it a *long* way back.

A gem, a pearl, a diamond in the mind.

Sep-28-10  Whitehat1963: Five for five. Meanwhile, Kramnik and Carlsen continue to look mortal.
Sep-28-10  apiana: ivanchuk is destroying his opponents by simply looking out for forking bishop, rook with the queen, great overall game with great finish. seems like ivanchuk is back again.
Sep-28-10  pulsar: And Ivanchuk won his sixth! When he's on it, man, he's on it...
Sep-29-10  Kaosking: 10. Rd1 !!
Sep-29-10  messachess: This is fine, dynamic play by Ivanchuck. He dominates Leko, but Leko was certainly not playing as well as he can. His blunder on 36 is just one obvious example.
