  Robed.Bishop: <realpolitik> after 25...Rf3, 26.Qh8+, Kf7. 27. Rxf3+ and Black is in a world of hurt.

Shams: <Robed.Bishop> Is he though? I looked earlier and couldn't find the kill.

Robed.Bishop: <Shams> I'm not sure what I looked at here. 27.Rxf3+ isn't possible because there isn't anything on f3 to take, although of course the rook can go to f3 and check the king. This isn't worthwhile given the black pawn on e4. 27.Bxf6 still leaves white in a better position, at least to me.

In short, you're right on my post!

Apr-18-11  realpolitik: erm robed bishop, there is a piece on f3, the rook.
