Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-15-10  thickhead: 19 Rxb7? Nc5 A good trap.
Dec-15-10  thickhead: 19.... Rc8 A good tactics to save time on clock . "If you want repetetion of moves it is o.k. for me." attitude.
Dec-15-10  thickhead: 23 ... Nd5 !! In spite of great pressure at centre Humpy is playing excellently. If black knight were at f6 things could be different.Black could play natural 23 .... Rd5. Now white is in dilemma.Either give up strong Q pawn or exchange Q for R and knight. She chose the latter since she badly needed a win.
Dec-15-10  thickhead: 25....Qd7!!! Excellent. defying Nimzowitch who advocated low value pieces like N,B or R for blocking a pawn. Humpy in this as well as in previous game has used queen for blockade.Routine move like 25... Re8 would have allowed 26.d7 Re7 27 Rad1 it is a matter of time before white wins.
Dec-15-10  thickhead: 29Ne7+ could be met by 29... Kf8 or even 29... rxe7 30 dxe7 qxe7. there is no back rank mate. A poetic justice to the reply 2.... h6 for an unnatural move 2.Bg5
Jan-13-11  ReikiMaster: 19.Qa3 looks good. 29.a3 may be better but white was pressing the issue.
