(P Szuper vs N Pogonina, 2011 24?) which would make a good puzzle.

In the game line, after 24.Rxc8 Rxc8 25.Nxe6 Be5 White gets four pawns for the exchange which is too much. Crafty End Game Trainer varies with 25...d4 26.Nxg7 dxe3 27.Bxc8 exf2+ 28.Kxf2 Kxg7 29.Qd7 Qxd7 30.Bxd7 Kf6 (returning the exchange and limiting losses to a Pawn). However White (to play) is a sound Pawn up and should win the ending. Link: http://www.chessvideos.tv/endgame-t...

As this ending gives Black, no counter-play whatever, it is hardly surprising that Black chose complications. In this line White gets four Pawns for the exchange. If you want to try your luck winning this line against Crafty EGT, here is the link with White to move (26?): http://www.chessvideos.tv/endgame-t...

AylerKupp: It did look like a wipeout. Natalia must have had a bad day.
Feb-02-11  libertyjack: This Szuper is an incredible player for his rating. Fabulous!
Feb-02-11  KKDEREK: It was a wipeout..But since she's not humble or take lightly mistakes from other GM's while commenting live games, I find this rather amusing.. As the old saying, 'Easier said than done'..
Apr-10-11  ReikiMaster: 19...Kh7 looks safer. Now Na5 is out of the action.
