Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-17-11  goodevans: I think I'm getting the hang of User: Mozart72 's "win probability" thing. If I'm calculating it right then after 30 moves Achim has a win probability of 75%. Compare this with the final position where Short has a win probability of just 37.5%. Quite enlightening indeed!

But seriously, Short gave up a lot of pawns to keep his attack going. I wonder if at any stage Achim was winning this if only he could have held on until the endgame.

Apr-17-11  Mozart72: goodevans. Actually Short's win probability (or unit-count %) in the final move is 43.75%. You missed a piece. And thanks for the compliment :)
