Strongest Force: Simple and strong..just like Capa...he must give my homey Naak another shot at a blitz match however

achieve: Nc6 indeed and an exchange with Be7 coming up. Looks drawish. Perhaps an understatement.

Ulhumbrus: <achieve: Black needs to put a rook on the c-file now, no? Can't allow Nc6... Difficult to pick the "right rook" in these situations> One not entirely serious way to do this is to decide on a Rook and to then choose the other Rook, because one always chooses the wrong Rook. Admittedly this is not a satisfactory substitute for increasing one's knowledge of the reasons for choosing a Rook.

  Ulhumbrus: On 21 Nxe7+ Qxe7 22 Rc4 the N on c5 is pinned.

achieve: <decide on a Rook and to then choose the other Rook> As my dad, who, when he was unsure to go left or right at a junction, would ask my mom, "which way, dear?" - and when she said "left!" he knew for certain to go right. Always works! ;)

  haydn20: 22...Ne4 seems called for.
Jun-19-11  pulsar: Now Qg5 is a threat.

  Ulhumbrus: One interesting way to unpin the N is 22...Qh4 23 Rxc5 Rxc5 24 Qxc5 Qh5+ 25 f3 f6 or even 22...Qh4 23 Rxc5 Qh5+ 24 f3 f6

  Ulhumbrus: On 23...Qh4 24 fxe5 Qh5+ 25 Kf1 f6 26 Rxc8 Rxc8 27 Qd7! turns the tables. More exact is 23...Rxc1 24 Rxc1 Qh4 24 fxe5 Qh5+ 25 Kf1 f6.

  haydn20: One line from Fritz 12 is 24...f6 25. Rxc8 Rxc8; 26. Qd7 Qxg2+; 27. Ke1 Qg1+ with a perpetual.
Jun-19-11  pulsar: 24...f6 25.Rxc8 Rxc8 26.Qd7 Qxg2+ should be enough for at least a draw.

  Ulhumbrus: One way for White to lose is 24...Qxg2+ 25 Ke1 Qg1+ 26 Ke2 Rxc1
