  tamar: Sasikiran loses his way trying to hold back the b pawn while attacking on the Kingside.

53 Nf6 looks suspect, as after the played 53...Kd6 White cannot take the h pawn or face 54 Nxh7 Kc5 55 Rb7 Na5 56 Rb8 Nc6 and the rook cannot stay on the b file.

Better is 53 Rb7+ Kd8 54 h4 Na5 55 Rb5 Nc6 56 h5 Kc7 57 h6 Ne7 58 Kf2 Kc6 59 Rb8 Nd5 60 Rc8 ++2.08/21 Rybka 3

Getting the pawn to h6 appears key to winning.

Jun-29-11  bronkenstein: 40...Na7?? (dropping a pawn in equal posish , I even slightly preffered black due to distant passer) 41. Nxf7! is key moment , and determination + patience Caruana demonstrated in the continuation to finally draw it is mark of a great player .
