Nov-10-11  pmukerji: I'm still kind of learning so anyone explain why Black didn't play 23. .. Bxd4+? The way I see it if he plays that then he wins a piece, no?
Nov-10-11  think: <pmukerji>23. ... Bxd4+ 24. Ne3 or 24. Be3 should keep material even.
Nov-10-11  pmukerji: of course...completely missed that...thanks for making me "think"...LOL
Nov-10-11  rilkefan: Ehh pun. And I thought this few-days-ago game by Gustafsson was much more enjoyable: J Gustafsson vs Efimenko, 2011
Nov-10-11  abuzic: 26.Ne7+!

27...Nxf3+!

30.Qxe8+? (30.Be3!)

Nov-10-11  sfm: Objection against that pun, unless there was something subtle I did not understand. :-(

whiteshark: A View to a Kill.
Nov-10-11  trnbg: What happens if White plays 28.Kh1 (instead of 28. Rxf3)? After that, Black has to retire his knight (28...Qxe4 is met by 29.gf), and White has won the exchange. Or did I miss something?

kevin86: Funny, black exchanged the two rooks for the queen to gain an advantage-then he reverses the transaction to win the pawn endgame.
Nov-10-11  SMCB1997: @pmukerji : White can play 24. Be3, saving the piece.
