Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-12-11  DrMAL: Nakamura's age was a record in this his first ever win against a GM in normal time control. He got a pair of hanging center pawns and boldly marched his king behind them.

After 32...Rxa2? Stripunsky missed 33.Nb7 to win the knight on c6. Instead he made a bad sac 35.Rxd4? miscalculating, then moved 41.Ne2?? stepping into a mate in 3 himself. Still, H-bomb played an amazing game for anyone near his age!

Dec-14-11  mikekelley: 37...Kf4 38.Rxf6+ Kg3 looks like a win for black. I played the "Guess the Move" for this game and I chose 37...Kf4. It's not the move Nakamura chose, but I was still awarded the full 3 points because it's a strong move.
