An Englishman: Good Evening: Great game by Bologan, and a powerful argument in favor of 6...b6 in the World's game vs. Akobian. 29...Black to Play will make a good Friday or Saturday puzzle.

perfidious: This is a fine combinative display by Bologan; while White's position in this middlegame is visually impressive, he has no means of opening the position for his bishops, although the one on b2 has nothing to oppose it.

Once Black guards g7 with 27....Re7, the onus is on Socko to come up with a way to counter the inevitable kingside attack.
