WinKing: All 5 of the competitors chasing Chucky are tied.
Oct-08-11  MindCtrol9: Ivanchuk is inspired.not easy to beat even Anand is the World Champion. This game has to be a very good one.

WinKing: I see I gave out some wrong info in my last post. Chucky has 13 pts. while Anand, Aronian, Carlsen, & Nakamura have 7.5 pts.. Vallejo is still trailing with 7pts. I had originally thought all five trailers had 7 but chessgames hasn't updated the leader board yet with all the games.

jessicafischerqueen: A "normal" Super GM would be very likely to make a draw against the World Champ, given the Tournament standings and number of rounds left.

<Choucky>, however, is in no respect a "normal" Super GM. He's likely to try for a win with White, and he might even try some strange, potentially disastrous opening plan to do it.

However, that's also why he might actually win the game. I have more respect and admiration for <Choucky> than for any other active chess player.

You see, <Choucky> likes to play chess. He enjoys playing chess. He likes to win a game or three.

I know <wordfunph> but I kinda 'dropped the ball' there. Lost some points for not being accurate. ;)

Oooh your right <waustad>. This scoring system screws me up all the time. I kinda like it though. If the trailers want to catch Chucky they will have to pick up the pace & take some chances.

Domdaniel: How did that happen? Is the game over already, or is this a different Ivanchuk win?

There's the usual pre-game banter in the kibitzing, and a Chuky victory on top? And no other posts? Whaaat?
