Oct-17-11  clma55: why not 25....f5 ??
Oct-17-11  nolanryan: i'm just guessing that 62 ke4 is supposed to be 62 Kc5
Oct-17-11  nolanryan: if 25 ..f5 then Re5
plus f5 opens up the diagonal to bishop pins and checks
Oct-18-11  Skakalec: <nolanryan> as someone pointed out, moves Ke4, Ke5 at the end of the game and without sense, indicate that, according to habit, someone placed winning sides king on e4 (white won) or e5 (black won) if both kings are on e4 and e5 at the same time, that idicates draw. And if everything is computerized, you get this nonsense. We don't even know if the last move was blacks bxa3 or the whites Kc5.
Oct-18-11  shogirules: Yeah, last move must have been 62. Kc5
Oct-18-11  nolanryan: skak, but if Ke4, white did not won! how can Ke4 indicate white winning if it is a losing move?! white won only if she did Kc5. By the way, black ke5 is illegal!
learn the rules first buddy!

dx9293: <nolanryan> On DGT boards (which are being used for the tournament), placing the kings on e4 and e5 indicate that the game is over. My guess is Baklan resigned before Alex could play 62.Kc5.
Oct-19-11  nolanryan: ke4 or ke5 are terrible moves
