if seems that Black has to play 21...Rd6 or 21..Qb6+
>
Or how about 21...Kf8

haydn20: Oddly, after 22...Kf8, I feel that White has just enough space & iniative to HOLD the position.

Ulhumbrus: The game Adams - Anand appears to be headed for a draw.

SteinitzLives: Kramnik- Naka 1/2-1/2 official, still a fighting game despite staying in the books Adams- Anand should be drawn soon too.

OneArmedScissor: Yeah... see. <...Kf8> just like I mentioned earlier. <Why can't black just move his king?>

An Englishman: Good Morning: I'm back, and I see a position where Black is a bit more disorganized then before, but I still think f4-f5 was premature. White's Rf1 surely wishes it could do more than stare at the f-pawn's derriere. 23.Rb7 looks interesting.

SCUBA diver: White needs to get one of his rooks to g3.

lost in space: I think this is now close to =. There seems to be no white advantage at all any longer.

An Englishman: Good Morning: Has anyone else figured out the reason(s) for White's last two moves? I can't. I don't think I understand chess anymore.

Ulhumbrus: Black is two pawns ahead. That means that he can offer the exchange without losing material on balance. My guess is that it is White who has to think of how to save the game.

lost in space: After 24...Qa4 White has now the option to start playing on the queenside with

25. Rb4 Qa3 26. Rb7 R6d7 27. Qe2. Still this position seems to me quite balanced

lost in space: Howel will lose on time or in time trouble. The position is = but complex. Six minutes for a 15 moves is not enough

You are right. In both cases (25...Qa3 and 25...Qc2) Black is not that bad.

An Englishman: Good Morning: Now Howell is starting to puzzle me. The whole point of ...Rd6 was to prevent the weakening of the King-side after Nxf6,gxf6. Looking at 27.Nxf6,gxf6; 28.Qh4,Kg7!?; 29.Rg3.
