YouRang: <artemis: You rang: with a rook and two knights for black vs a queen and a really wild position...>

True :-) Don't forget white also got 2 pawns in the deal.

Strongest Force: Rb4 and wins I hope
Dec-10-11  MindCtrol9: Yes, <Rb4> I think takes care of the bussiness.

FSR: 32...Rb4 would have been met by 33.Qa1, and if 33...Qxa1 34.Rxa1 Rxb5?, 35.Ra7+ is strong.

WannaBe: Okay, fine, play ...Qb4, see if I'll give you any more advices in the future.
Dec-10-11  Ezzy: 32 Be5 Threatening 1.Bxd5 Nxd5 2.Rxd5 exd5 3.Qxf5+ Ke7 4.Bxg7 Re4 5.Qxd5 Qc1+ 6.Kg2 Qc4 7.Qb7+ Ke6 8.Qc6+ Kf7 9.Be5 Rxe5 10.fxe5 Ke7 11.Qd6+ Ke8 12.b6 Qe4+ 13.Kg3 h5 14.Qb8+ Kf7 15.Qc7+ Ke8 16.b7 h4+ winning.

  FSR: 33...c4 is appealing.

YouRang: Seems that we should see 33...c4, I think.
Dec-10-11  MindCtrol9: <33. ...Ra3> that what I'll play.
Dec-10-11  artemis: Yes but I think that in that position I would hope to play a more karpovian type squeeze on black then a tactical brawl when black's knights are already protecting eachother. If the rook were to harmonize with them (a big if I admit) then white could be lost easily. Still I will grant you that the pawns would march. Essentially I guess I am saying that if it were move 41 then. I would seriously calculate it. At move 29 not so much...
Dec-10-11  rilkefan: I would feel uncomfortable about 32...Rb4 33.Qc2 with Ra1 coming, and Bxd5 to worry about too.

FSR: Actually, I'm not sure now. 33...c4 34.Qd4 threatens 35.Bxg7.
Dec-10-11  josejoasm: 5 minutes Adams left?

34...c3 I think makes that dangerous.

An Englishman: Good Morning: Interesting redirection; White threatens 35.Qg2 or 35.Bh5+,g6!?; 36.Bxg6+!?,Kxg6; 37.Qg2+.
Dec-10-11  techie4mIndia: black may consider pushing his c file also now
Dec-10-11  Ezzy: Carlsen starting to slowly turn the screw.
