Jan-14-12  Penguincw: What has Sipke Ernst even learned since his lost to Carlsen in 2004?
Jan-14-12  Ezzy: Lahno won 250 Euro for best game in group B. Well deserved. 28 Nf5! was nice.

HeMateMe: I wonder if black can refuse the Knight at f5 and keep playing, even if losing the exchange, the Rook on h8? Maybe refusing the Knight can keep the position closed for black.

haydn20: It's a nice game but...for God's sake why didn't Black play axb4 somewhere betw move 19 & 24?! He needs counterplay and he has it on the Qside. Interestingly, the position of the game after move 17 appeared in Motylev-Marcos 2008 (tho' one move sooner) after a Sicilian (B30).

haydn20: After 26. g5 Black can just play Ne8 and the attack is stopped. Later, it took 27...Rf8? (Qc8) and 30...Nf5?? to completely lose this game.
