  RookFile: In the final position, the threat is ...Rb1 mate. It appears the finish might be 30. Kc1 Rxa2 31. Kb1 Rfb2+ 32. Kc1 c3 and there is no stopping ...Ra1 and mate.
Mar-01-12  screwdriver: Yes, regardless of which way white ran with his king, to 30.KC1 as mentioned by Rookfile above or in the other direction. The white king would've been checkmated. Capablanca saw this in order to get rid of his bishop on f5. Also, Capablanca had to get all of his business in before the 2 move mate of his opponent... Ne7 & Rg8#
