Gilmoy: White rightly fears to castle short vs. a stronger player who has already chosen the KID. Black's response is enlightening: <10..c5 11..b5> Q-side eruption, with a Benko-like pawn sac for piece flow, and <14..e6> almost a Blumenfeld invitation to get juggernaut pawns. White's weak square at c4 hurt more than the pawn was worth.

When the KID storm <19..g5 20..f5 21..g4> finally breaks, it's a can opener. White seems to overestimate her Rg1 resource, and sits too long on it.

<23..Ne5> is the end, three ideal minors dominating space. <8..Na5> set the tone: as in Grünfeld and Nimzo, it prepares to dogpile on c4. The elegant <9..N>(either)<d7-10..c5> theme supports it harmoniously: Ne5 if White captures, c4 if he doesn't, plus unleashes the KID B. That must be Black's experience paying off: knowing when (and how!) to swing his KID to the Q-side.
