  OBIT: It's very interesting, though, that all the GM analysts for the live feed, along with Nakamura, regarded the endgame at move 47 as a "matter of technique," but Shulman could find no way to win it. If Black keeps his rook on the c-file, guarding his pawn and keeping White's pawn from marching forward, how does White make progress?
May-19-12  nuwanda: i think the decisive fault was already 48.Kf3, allowing the black rook to enter the first rank. i think simply 48.Ra6 winning the f5-pawn either with Kf4, Be5 or with Ra5 in case of black Rb4, was an easy win.
