stardust762: Gelfand, please pay attention. Now you play c4 and all Anand's home preparation goes down the drain.

RookFile: I was on another page making the same point. The English opening would be an excellent weapon - a long game with slow positional pressure.
May-19-12  kcchesschamp: I dont think that either players will survive the next wcc. Anand has the most experience with long intense matches so i suspect he will have the longer endurance but Boris is doing very well, i like his opening preparation

Ron: I was just thinking about the English Opening too. The English Opening is clearly a viable opening for White, and would have surprise value here.

twinlark: If not then hopefully the 8th one.
May-19-12  Penguincw: First win of the match maybe.
May-19-12  capanegra: With only six classic games to go and such a circumspective play by both sides, I'd say that the first win will be almost equivalent to the match triumph. Hence, they'll probably keep on playing with circumspection. I wouldn't be surprised to see another draw here. (I hope I'm wrong!)
May-19-12  kamalakanta: Maybe by game 11 someone will win a game....
