Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-03-12  ooda: Really nice play by Bu - realizing that he can allow 30.Nxe6 and 31.Nxf8 and black is still better due to the strong initiative created by the passed pawn and pressure on white's castled position.

45...Bb3+! and black wins because white can't stop the pawn promoting.

Jun-03-12  twinlark: Nice to see Bu coming back into form.
Jun-06-12  zealouspawn: To put a line to ooda's (correct) claim:

45..Bb3+
46 Kg1(or Kh1) ..Rxc1+
47 Rxc1 (or 47 Qxc1 Qa2#) Qxb2+
48 Kxb2 ..Bd1! The sting at the end of the combination where the white rook, drawn to c1, cannot stop promotion on the next move.

Jun-07-12  Zkid: <zealouspawn> I think you have to watch out for 49. Rc8+! there. Instead of 47...Qxb2+ in your line, 47...e1=Q looks like an easy win.
Aug-22-12  zealouspawn: Ouch! Thats embarrasing, thanks for the catch. That only works if the king is uncheck-able (and something I should have looked for). Of course you're right, 47..e1=Q looks crushing
Aug-22-12  kudzi tsuro: That waz good game cant imagine that black light colored bishop waz out of the but after Bxf5! The game turned and g6 wel played
