Jun-04-12		Phony Benoni: Kupchik didn't give monster simuls like Capablanca or Marshall, or go on tours as they did. His seem to have been smallish local affairs in lesser-known clubs, and may have been more for chess publicity rather than as a source of income. He was known for being particularly quick, finishing 15-20 board simuls in 60-90 minutes. This particular one was played on the rooftop of the Central Y.M.C.A., Kupchik scoring +10 -1 =1.
