kingscrusher: <Cemoblanca:> nice idea Be2-h5. All of a sudden this is looking really uncomfortable for Magnus. All of White's pieces seem to have good "quality" to them. Even the King potentially.

talisman: <Cemo> thanks.....looks like Moro can put a rook on c7 next.

Ulhumbrus: <talisman: good morning...who's winning?> Good afternoon. Morozevich, it seems.
Jun-09-12  MindCtrol9: The plan to win is to doble the Rooks on 7 first. The isolated pawn, advancing it or not is the objective to keep the pressure. There are ways to win with White.

Cemoblanca: <kingscrusher> Yes! I can't see here any bad moves for white! Moro should win this, if he plays without a mistake! Let's see Dude! :0)

whiteshark: owning 7th rank is no goal by itself, when it comes to nothing... Black has covered Pb7 twice and also Pd5.

talisman: <Ulhumbrus> thanks....what you think about Rcc7 next for white?

lost in space: The complete position looks losing for Black - since he was forced to play Bxc3. I think that Carlson missed the Qxa2 Kd1!! idea and now he has this closed to lost endgame (if it is not simply lost)

  Cemoblanca: I don't like 22...a6?! Afterwards the Bishop will be better on e2! And 22...Kf6??? I don't know! 23.Rcc7! Rf8 (forced) 24.Be2!

lost in space: If black stays passive white has Bb5-Be2-h5 and either the b- or the f-pawn is gone.

Rolfo: Lost in space? Apollo 13 found their way home by navigating with a sextant. Can Carlsen do the same?

Perhaps he will tell us what it was.

Cemoblanca: Sooner or later, this position will cost material for black!

lost in space: maybe I should also try a sextant

tamar: Moro still has to win it.

The moment he takes material is crucial- for instance, if the King goes to d4, it leaves the second rank unguarded.

Cemoblanca: <tamar> Well, the question is: Who profits more from the 2nd rank Dude? ;0)

Jun-09-12  stiffsurgeon1: Paralised pieces make lots of troubles for black.

sevenseaman: Does anyone think Moro could play 24. Be8?

Ulhumbrus: If Black even tries to defend himself by ...Be6 that allows Rxb7. All the same, 24 Be2 may be better than 24 b4.
