Robin01: Looks like black might have a threat now with c5 coming.

talisman: move one of them pawns in front of the king.

Eyal: Ian Rogers: "Carlsen-Grischuk [after 24...h5] going from bizarre to completely bizarre".

Pedro Fernandez: <talisman: move one of them pawns in front of the king.> h3 or f3, it should be prophylactic

Eyal: Definitely looks like a draw now - apparently White can't get the knight to a good square.

  Robin01: <Definitely looks like a draw now>I agree.

Marmot PFL: Carlsen-Griscuk is hard to assess as Carlen's Bg3 can be trapped and killed but doing so opens up black's king to threats by WQ & WN. Or it could desparado on e5.

Pedro Fernandez: Now one sees Moro was concerned by e2 square; brilliant Rdaja's maneuver

Strongest Force: This game seems headed for a draw and Luke seems headed towards smashing Nak's 3 piece set (so to speak).

Pedro Fernandez: Now I think Ridja will play Qe7 as his king is more active.

Eyal: Tomashevsky seems to be losing against Caruana, after a rather desperate exchange sac in a difficult position. Carlsen may have missed a great opportunity against Grischuk on move 25 (with Bxe6 followed by Bxe5 & d4), but it's still very interesting.

waustad: Caruana won. I thought he'd never get his bishop out.

Eyal: Ok, now after Black has exchanged his problematic a-pawn he really doesn't have any more problems.

Marmot PFL: Carlsen has sacrificed the exchange. His games are usually so absorbing.

  talisman: Q wants f4.

Eyal: Yeah, Carlsen-Grischuk is a game full of unconventional ideas. Very interesting.

chancho: All these guys are outstanding players, but when it comes to fighting, I think Moro kicks all their asses. ;-)

boz: Another day at the office for Grischuk when he has about one minute to make ten moves in a razor sharp position.

I refer you to his second world cup game against Grischuk.

whiteshark: Drwa agreed. Carlsen-Grischuk remains unclear after all

Strongest Force: Nak lucked out with at least a draw against Sir Luke. The Force is great in these lads.

chancho: Carlsen might well be in trouble.

Eyal: Carlsen without much time left either...

Ulhumbrus: 6...Be7 omits to play ...b5 and this suggests 7 Bxc6.

6...Be7 omits as well to play ...d5 and this suggests 7 d5.
