Jun-17-12		technical draw: I think both players kept playing because of time pressure. It's one thing to analyze it as a draw but it's another thing having to make the correct moves with seconds on your clock. Always hope for a blunder.

Jun-17-12		AuN1: tomashevsky was probably satisfied with a draw which is why we didn't see him pushing too hard for the win even though he could have created some chances. too often it happens that when one side is playing for a draw rather passively, they end up with an inferior position much the way zenya did here at the end. good job to hold on though.

This young player is a genious.What about McShane who has beaten the best players?This proff that he can beat anybody and he plays better against the higher rating players.This tournament is extraornidary and wonderfull which I have enjoyed more than any other before.

I'd rate this as a victory for him over Tomashevsky in terms of future games.> I will primarily rate this as a victory for chess! Carlsen really put Tomashevsky to the test in the end game - and he passed in a convincing way. Great game!

Jun-17-12		Chessmaster9001: Wonderful game and incredible fighting spirit by Carlsen. Tomashevsky played this endgame almost perfect but still found himself in trouble. Kudos to both players!

Carlsen does not have to do anything, that is only in your head.

Jun-18-12		csmath: Comparing games Caruana-Kramnik and Carlsen-Tomashevsky it is clear that Kramnik shot himself in foot while Tomashevsky played as good as needed to save the game. The only steel I see here is Carlsen's resolve to make every move count. That is the fabric of a champion though there is nothing to subtract from Caruana who has played well the whole tournament.
