Jun-21-12  LoveThatJoker: Game 1 from the 4 game match.

Good opener: Nothing wrong with seeing a hyper-accelerated Dragon and a good positional fight thereafter.

Hopefully the remaining three games will feature even more entertaining, interesting and fighting Chess still!

With GM Svidler playing, this is thankfully nearly assured!

LTJ

PS. According to Stockfish, in the final position after 36. Kxe2, Black should start mobilizing his K via 36...Kg6/Kg7 with an equal game.

36...Re6+ is less accurate as White has 37. Kf1. If here Black tries to get overly agressive via 37...Bc3 38. Bf3 Re3? 39. Bxc6 then White will have the advantage and may choose to play on in hopes of a win.
