Jun-30-12  hellopolgar: Classical games: Ding Liren beat Wang Hao 4 to 2.

When these two meet, it's never a draw!

by the way the final position is dead even, so white flagged here.

waustad: This will bring his rating up a fair amount, more than enough to make up for drawing a couple of 2400s.

Eyal: <12...Rb8!?> is a novelty by Ding Liren and an interesting way to respond to 12.Bf3, which was recently brought into attention by Kramnik (instead of the previously standard 12.f3, or 10.Re1 f5 11.Ng5 Nf6 12.Bf3), in Kramnik vs A Giri, 2011 & Kramnik vs Grischuk, 2012.

Another alternative that has already been tried in several games to 12…c6, as played by Giri & Grischuk, is 12...fxe4 13.Ncxe4 Nf5 – with mixed results (http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches...).

Does this mean every game is decisive, too?

<....by the way the final position is dead even, so white flagged here.>

The position is probably equal, so the posted result may be incorrect. Been known to happen before, so I'm not drawing any definite conclusions.
