PhilFeeley: Did white lose on time? He could play 30. Bh3, threatening g5. Maybe black just has a lock on all the best lines. This just doesn't look over yet. What am I missing?

Eyal: In addition to Nxg4, there's also the threat of c4: after 30.Bh3 c4 31.bxc4 Bxa7 32.Rxa7 g5 (to prevent counterplay for White by g5) it looks hopeless for White in the log run; though in order to prevent any shred of counterply for White with 32.g5 in that line, Houdini actually prefers 30...Nh7 with ideas of Ng5 and/or Rf3 (the eval is about -2). But at any rate, it does look a bit early to actually resign.
