Jul-08-12  JoergWalter: When Ivanchuk is good he is really good. Forceful performance.
Jul-08-12  messachess: Neat little combination at the end. I'm guessing that 43..Nf3+ was a surprise for white.

Eyal: The finish of this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4v3..., from about 1:25 to 2:00 (starting with Carlsen making the move 43.Kh3); worth watching for Chucky's reactions.

Yes, 43 ... Nd3-f4+! is a beautiful <LINE-OPENING SACRIFICE>, opening the third rank, exposing the White h3-king to the fury of the Black f2-queen and f8-rook.

waustad: I don't know what was going on, but Magnus looked terrible on the third day of the tourney. On the video he had huge bags under the eyes, so that he looked like he was either seriously hung over or had played bughouse all night. Just an observation - he might have slept fine, but it didn't look like it.
Jul-09-12  tivrfoa: It's also funny Carlsen's reaction hehe. Thanks for the video <Eyal>

kellmano: That is hilarious. If he was a little kid, I'd consider it bad manners, but as he's a fully grown adult I admire the eccentricity.

As for Carlsen, I watched a lot of the rapid/blitz and I think his natural facial expression is one of pure misery.
