Jul-08-12		Eyal: In this final-round game, after 39...h4?? 40.Nh5+! gxh5: click for larger view Topalov missed a rather simple mating idea: 41.Rg5+ Kf8 (otherwise Qxh5 mates immediately) 42.Qxh5. This would have awarded him 2nd place instead of 3rd, since he would have equalized Carlsen's number of points and the first tiebreak was head-to-head score.
