Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-25-14  dunamisvpm: When GM Grischuk as white here pushed his pawn on moved 22.c5, he had calculated that if GM Topalov would accept his gambit, then he, Grischuk would end up one minor piece down. Considering this is an OTB game, Grischuk took a great risk of miscalculations as he relied on the power of his mind analysis. But he had given us the fans a very exciting game! Merry CHRISTmas! Have fun!
Dec-26-14  Zkid: I wonder why Topalov didn't try 42...Kd6 (or maybe 41...f6) with winning chances in 4 v 3. Maybe they were both low on time by the end, or he was confident Grischuk could hold it.
