twinlark: Black fastened on to the weakness at d4 with a death grip, and won very nicely because of it. Great game by the 13 year old Wei Yi.

luzhin: Actually, White was doing OK and with 31.Qf1 would probably have had the edge. After 31.Qf4? he was probably expecting 31...Rf2 after which he happily gives up the Q for two rooks. But 31...Nf6! both hits d7 and also opens a barrage on g2.
Aug-04-12  messachess: <luzhin> You mean 31.Rf1--?

It generates some tactical fireworks...

Aug-08-12  onur87: What a fantastic knight! 19...e4 ,31...Nf6, 33...Ng8.i guess Rapport hate it :)
Jan-22-13  JPi: This young guy must be invited to the next Tata Steel Tournament.
Jan-28-13  Whitehat1963: Wei to go! Will he become the next Nakamura or the next Wesley So?
Feb-01-13  dumbgai: <Will he become the next Nakamura or the next Wesley So?> What's that supposed to mean? I don't see the contrast between Naka and So. I hope he doesn't become the next Bu Xiangzhi (i.e. a prodigy who reaches a high level but not quite the highest).
Feb-03-13  Whitehat1963: It means exactly what you think it means.
