  Abdel Irada: Agreed, <abstract>. Salem shows a clear eye for the essence of a position, allowing him to distinguish real from ersatz threats and proceed accordingly.

I suspect most players (even players rated between 2500 and 2600), after 28. Nd2, would have worried about the knight on c4 and been panicked into prematurely exchanging on b7; but Salem, calmly calculating that after a capture on c4, he would be able to exchange on b7 and *then* recapture on c4 with the rook, played 28. ...h6 with enviable sangfroid.
