Jun-27-13  Illogic: She shouldn't have been invited. To a exhibition rapid event. Because.... ?
Jun-27-13  rhedrich: She's not good enough anymore.

parmetd: and when you are footing the bill, feel free to invite whoever you like.
Jun-27-13  dontwakedaddy: rhedrich = Internet troll

  luzhin: 34.Qxg6!! fxg6 35.Bxg6+ Rf7 36.Rh1! Qxg5 37.Rh8 mate (or 36...36.Kf8 37.Rh8+ Kg7 38.Rxd8 Kxg6 39.Rxc8) would have been a more artistic conclusion.
Jun-28-13  rhedrich: <rhedrich = Internet troll>

She just lost to Kramnik, who has been playing dog awful lately. Just facts.

perfidious: <parmetd: and when you are footing the bill, feel free to invite whoever you like.>

There is not one scintilla of doubt that <rhedrich> is at the top of every organiser's list-he must be at least 3000 strength.

At least this is true in his fantasies, where he crushes top-class players without trace. The rest of the time, he is content to be a member of a group that plays Monday morning quarterback and pans every failing, telling all and sundry how none of the top players know how to play.

parmetd: Haha perfidious. I love we both agree so fully on this issue of respect for the players.
Jun-28-13  rhedrich: I'm not that good at all. Judit would crush me. Nice straw man though.

keypusher: A little bit like these old classics. Hard to believe.

Reshevsky vs G Treysman, 1938

Schlechter vs W John, 1905

Jun-28-13  Illogic: Classic ChessGames kibitzing. Whichever player starts off a tournament poorly, the trolls come in with the 'they never should have been invited'. It's always baseless and always done with 100% hindsight.
Jun-28-13  rhedrich: Or we can just revisit this when she does poorly at the next tournament. Try again.

  perfidious: <Illogic>: Bang on.
Jun-28-13  rhedrich: By the way, I wrote my original comment after only 2 games. It's not "hindsight" when she continues to lose more than win.

perfidious: <rhedrich>: Try reading the form of the post, instead of jumping in to make sure you get the last word-who knows, you might even learn something.
Jun-28-13  rhedrich: Try to write more accurate posts.

Hate ta break it ta ya, tool, but a post is either accurate or it is not.

Now retire to your cave for many a moon, thereby doing all of us a favour.

Jun-28-13  rhedrich: <Hate ta break it ta ya, tool, but a post is either accurate or it is not.>

This is not accurate, as truth can be mixed with error. But I guess to someone who doesn't even seem to know what truth is, it's an easy mistake to make, huh?

How well you would know.

Jun-28-13  rhedrich: There is not one scintilla of doubt that <perfidious> is a top-notch psychologist.

At least this is true in his fantasies, where he crushes trolls without trace. The rest of the time, he is content to play Monday morning analyst and pan everyone who disagrees, telling all and sundry how none of them know anything.

perfidious: Nice strawman, combined with the lifting of a previous post by another-a truly dazzling display of originality.

parmetd: I can't remember a time when perfidious telling me how I know nothing.... guess that defeats your "all" argument. he is just taking issue with people that are incapable of showing others respect. your disrespect for judit polgar and perfidious are greatly misplaced. it reflects poorlyon your character for all to see.
Jun-29-13  rhedrich: I don't remember the last time I said I could beat a GM... guess that defeats his "all" argument.

Or weren't you paying attention? My straw man was intentional to highlight the ludicrousness of the original one.

Thank you. Lovely
