Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-16-14  Karpova: Wittekopff was from Mitau (today Jelgava) and Wait from Riga, so both from Latvia.

The annotator suggests 9.Nh4 and 17.Nhf5. The move 20.Nh2 allows the nice combination, although Black was better anyway.

Shure. But it has to be the right place.

And not as when I was around 19 and patiently waiting for the bus.15 minuttes, half an hour, one hour and then I realized it was not a bus stop, but a sign that said "parking prohibited" ;)

Shure.I was a very smart and bright kid and it only took an hour to figure out that this was not a bus stop.

Later I went to a museum with a painting of a bus stop, saying "This is not a bus stop".

Which they did not understand ,but they advised me to start smoking a pibe.

ChessHigherCat: <Moronovich> Is that when you became a famous Belgian surrealist? I think I've seen your masterpiece: "Ceci n'est pas un arręt de bus"

perfidious: In the far better-known game Tylor-Lasker, White played 8.Nh4. I believe it was stronger to play as suggested in Wiener Schachzeitung.

As to <kudzu>: it will not do.
