ajk68: White spends a lot of time early in the game moving pieces multiple times. For example, the light-squared bishop gets moved multiple times only to be traded off.

I can't say white comes out of the opening worse, but my gut feel is he could do better.

offramp: Benny Bok is the winner of two GsOTD in a row! Well done to him.

"Bok Towers" is a pun on Bok Tower in Lake Wales, Florida (or perhaps Lake Florida, Wales). Florida is the home state of Chessgames.com.

Its main tower resembles St Dunstan in the West, London. https://www.stdunstaninthewest.org/...

I also tried to make the this pun a "double"—meaning that the wordplay on Benjamin Bok's name also makes a thematic reference to the game itself.

In this instance, Bok's <two towers> first make their presence felt around <21...Rhf8> and ultimately puntrol the Center by the time White finally puncedes.

Notably, Bok's last FIDE rating now stands at <2639>, so this young GM from the Netherlands—who will turn 24 in a few days (Jan 25)—seems to be making <great strides> as a chess player...
