Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-03-16  NightKnight: Itīs nice, messy shortie. Now if 23...Qe8, then 24.Rd8! finishes things.

  Knight13: Good enough.
Jan-01-17  IAmMe: OMG the calculations are real!!!
Jan-01-17  hamzaable: why black not played 15)Nxd5 after white 15) Nd5 ?
Jan-01-17  ASchultz: @hamzaable Qxd5 is too strong. White threatens Ne5, and while Black can play ...Qxd6, it opens too many lines.

Also Ne5 Bg6 Qxb7 and White can even bide time with Rad1 for a bigger knockout blow.

Though it's not like Black has terribly good alternatives.

Jan-01-17  clement41: In this sicilian I reckon the main purpose of 4 a4 is to prevent the typical ...b5 push, hereby retaining the c4 square. Thus I believe that more consistent would have been 5 Bc4, using the hard-fought c4 square in addition to preventing the ...d5 lever. Now who am I to criticize the current most brilliant youngster?
Jan-01-17  psmith: 12...0-0 returning the material gives Black decent chances.

RandomVisitor: 10...Nb4 and white no longer has the 12.d5 tempo after 11.Bxc4 dxc4.

GrahamClayton: I wonder if the sacrifice 11.♗xc4 was a TN/home preparation, or an idea that came to him during the game?
