An Englishman: Good Evening: Sound or not, 13.0-0-0 is a bold pawn sacrifice. White didn't even mind swapping Queens. Key moment comes after 19.Ng5, because if 19...Kf8; 20.Nxe6+,fxe6; 21.Nxe6+ and 22.Nc7.

An enormous bag of wind casting a pall wherever it goes. And then there's the <Hindenburg>.

piltdown man: Great pun, but it would have worked better if Hindemburg had lost.

Nov-20-18  7he5haman: Would 19...Kf8 and 20...Kg8 have held?
Nov-20-18  Nerwal: <Would 19...Kf8 and 20...Kg8 have held?>

No as ♘xe6+ now comes with check and the ♘ jumps to c7 next winning a full rook.

  Count Wedgemore: <priyadarshan: What about 14....Ne7 ?>

Yes, 14...Ne7 seems like a much better move than 14...hxg4 (which was played). Black ends up playing ...Ne7 anyway, but only after some piece exchanges that favor White (Black gives up his actively placed queen, and White gains control of the h-file). So much better to play ...Ne7 straight away.
