Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-23-14  Captain Hindsight: <34... Rf8> would have saved the game.
Dec-23-14  Ferari: Captain H, if 34...Rf8, then 35. Bc5 wins, then if 35...Bg7, 36. Re8!
Dec-24-14  Ferari: On the last note there was a typo, and it should be 36.Rd8.

Penguincw: There goes Shirov's chances of being on the 2700 list to start 2015 (assuming no more games are being played); if Shirov won this game, I believe his rating would at 2699.9, which is rounded up.
Dec-24-14  Andrew Chapman: I didn't understand 32..Rg6. I was thinking Rg7 to defend the f7 pawn after Rd7.
Dec-25-14  Ferari: Andrew 32...Rg7 would be terrible. Then 33. Rd7 Qb8 34. c7! Rxc7 35. Rd8+ and Mate next.
