But actually no loss of tempo involved as they are partially offset by the moves of blacks queen and otherwise pursue positional purposes. Already when the black queen returns to d8 white has the better development.

Actually it's 7 of the first 14 moves were with the same knight. However, 7 of Nepo's 13 moves were a knight move.

Interesting journey nevertheless for the queen knight, who makes it to the final position: b1-c3-b5-a3-c4-e5-g4-h6-g4-f6-d5. Every file visited too.
