Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-10-15  paavoh: What's with 29.Nc6? and 31.Kg3?? Severe lack of time, perhaps?
Jul-10-15  ninja warrior: Kg1 loses a piece to Bxc6... probably missed the mating net due to time pressure.
Jul-10-15  Reisswolf: Kg1 doesn't lose a whole piece. It loses just a pawn, since White was up a piece at that point.

Kg3 was a blunder.

Jul-10-15  Knight13: <paavoh: What's with 29.Nc6?> To go after the e5 Bishop as White's threatening 30. Ne7+. It's good for White to exchange his Knight for the dark-squared Bishop in this position, if not for 29... Bxh2+.
Jul-10-15  shintaro go: Kg3 was a gift to ensure Giri would win this super tournament
Jul-11-15  fisayo123: <this super tournament> You mean, Mickey Mouse tournament, surely?
Jul-11-15  paavoh: There are many nations that would be proud to raise so many GMs with only 16-17 million people (admittedly, Tiviakov and Giri are immigrants) and now have a national championship with average rating of 2616. Not to mention their chess heritage: Euwe, Timmerman, van Oosterom, Timman,... No Mickey Mice there nor in this tournament.
Jul-11-15  gokusano: Why is it that there are some people who would call a tournament not participated by majority of top ten gms as mickey mouse tournament? Their sarcasms are very irritating. All those top ten players today started as somebody without the skyhigh rating. They should look back and support these tournaments because from these they've come from.
