GrahamClayton: Excellent play by Lubbe. The pawn on e5 cramps Stoeri and stops her counterplay - exchanges open the position for the White rooks. After winning the exchange, Lubbe patienty maneuvres in the ending to gain a passed pawn that leads to Stoeri's resignation.

OrangeTulip: And an excellent Pun. Nice association with the sad history of Van der Lubbe and the downfall of Stoeri. Striking is that Lubbe is German and VdL was Dutch

Mar-11-19  onigorom: I don't get 28.Bd5 at all. What's wrong with winning after 28.Bxg6 fxg6 [28...Bg5 29. Bc2] 29.Qxg6 Kf8 30.e6. Or 29...Kh8 30. Rxd2 Rxd2 31. Qxh6+ Kg8 32. Qxd2? Have not used the machine, but Lxg6 seems so obvious, because Black has got no counterplay whatsoever.

Breunor: Although there were earlier inaccuracies (for a computer) it looks like black starts falling off with 15 .. h6.

+1.01 (21 ply) 16.O-O O-O 17.Qe4 f5 18.exf6 Qxe4 19.Bxe4 Bxf6 20.Bd5+ Kh8 21.Bxf6 Rxf6 22.b4 Nd8 23.Rfd1 Bxd5 24.Rxd5 cxb4 25.axb4 d6 26.c5 Kh7 27.cxd6 cxd6 28.Re1 Rc8 29.b5 Rc7

Computer prefers f5:

The next pretty big error does from an odd looking move 21 ... Bg5?
