Feb-11-17  ChessHigherCat: Wow, more than just a pretty face! That whole sequence beginning with 13...ef2 was amazing, although I'm not sure white found the best defense.
Feb-11-17  RookFile: What a great pun. I don't use Microsoft Word that much, took me a bit to get it.

offramp: This game won't play on my Zune.
Feb-11-17  AlicesKnight: 10.g4? - offering the KRP and initiating a flank "attack" with no central security? Black's d-pawn counter-charge is lovely, culminating in the N promotion. 21.Rxh4 has an air of desperation about it - trying to find a perpetual (I have no idea...)?
Feb-11-17  The Kings Domain: The charming Ukrainian executes a farsighted queen sacrifice that leads to unquestionable dominance on the board.
Feb-11-17  7he5haman: <AlicesKnight> Yup. I don't get why they didn't go 10.f4 first, with g4 to follow when the time is right.

Richard Taylor: <RookFile: What a great pun. I don't use Microsoft Word that much, took me a bit to get it.>

Enlighten me on the pun then. It evades me.

Does it mean that she is married or something?

Richard Taylor: 8. Be2 was sounder and 11. Ne4?? and then Bd3? mean White is losing.

Instead it seems that: 11. ... Na4 is o.k. for White.

Feb-11-17  lentil: <RT>: 'docx' is the extension on filenames in Microsoft Word(R): "document.docx".
Feb-11-17  Ironmanth: Strong and well executed idea by Mariya here. Thanks for this one. Pretty evident that she is a former world champion, and yes, she does have a lovely face as well as a charming demeanor.
Feb-11-17  thegoldenband: First pun in a while that's made me actually LOL. (Or at least "amused sniffchuckle out loud".)

tamar: Do not open, DOCX, from an untrustworthy source.
Feb-11-17  goodevans: <ChessHigherCat> I trust that your next post about Fab C will begin "Wow, more than just a handsome dude"?
Feb-11-17  ChessHigherCat: <goodevans I trust that your next post about Fab C will begin "Wow, more than just a handsome dude"?>

I hate to betray your trust but I reserve the right to gender bias to that extent. Do I have to go out and marry a "dude" now because I have been so discriminatory as to marry a woman? I'm sure that would be "big o' me" but I pass.

Feb-12-17  goodevans: <ChessHigherCat> I wouldn't dream of denying you your gender bias, but I do find rather pathetic the fact that when commenting on a woman pursuing her chosen profession you feel the need to remark first on her attractiveness ahead of anything about her aptitude for it.
Feb-12-17  ChessHigherCat: <goodevan I wouldn't dream of denying you your gender bias, but I do find rather pathetic the fact that when commenting on a woman pursuing her chosen profession you feel the need to remark first on her attractiveness ahead of anything about her aptitude for it.> I find it rather pathetic that you can't understand basic English: "More than just a pretty face" means "contrary to the sexist notion that beautiful women can't be intelligent." It's in no way parallel to "What a hot dude", which is pure drivel.
