Resignation Trap: Black missed several chances to improve his position. Here's the first critical position after 37. Qb1:

Here, 37...Bb5 is good, and Black is at least equal.

A few moves later, after 38.Rxa6:

Black has 38...b3! 39. Bxb3 Bb5, which should hold due to tactical ideas (the f1 square!).

Another missed opportunity after 45. Bg2:

Black has 45...Ra2! 46. Qxa2 Bxa2 47. Bxh3 Bxb1, with a difficult endgame, but with decent drawing chances.

Finally, after 51. Ke3:

Black played 51...Ba6? which loses quickly to 52. d6+. Instead, 51...Bc4! still gives chances for a draw.
