An Englishman: Good Evening: How do you think Marshall would react if he came back from the dead and discovered that his beloved gambit had become a drawing weapon?

In some ways he would perhaps be flattered. A sharp opening only becomes a drawing weapon after it has been thoroughfully played and analyzed, and this process led to the gambit being considered fully sound. Overall this means his discovery not only has drawn a lot of attention but also has withstood the test of time.

Jan-15-17  dm1991: It's a mystery for me, why Hari went for this line. Levon is a specialist in this opening so i don't know what white was hoping for.
